I'm so glad i found this! They are not as leniant about missing payments or being late but they are so so so so so much cheaper than what they want you to believe is necessary for most mainstream insurance.

I have been a customer with Amax for close to a year and have never had much of an issue with any agent in regards to customer service, until now! After having experienced an agent error in proper payment posting, I was charged a late fee (SeaHarbor) and was told it would be “impossible” for them to waive it, despite it being an agent error. In attempt to rectify this error, I called the original location, Dallas at Beltline, only to further experience unpleasantries with a disturbingly unprofessional agent hanging up in my face as I was explaining the error and having gotten the run around. In a final attempt at continuing coverage, I called the location in Austin at Anderson and spoke with an agent named Renesha. She was the difference in me continuing my association with this insurance servicer. She worked DILIGENTLY with me in finding a agreeable solution. She was ABSOLUTELY calm, professional. For my future insurance inquiries and dealings, I will definitely be in communication with Renesha, her customer service is top tier!!!
