Is RV insurance required in Arizona?

Motorized RVs need at least Arizona's 25/50/15 liability, the same as any vehicle. Towable trailers are not separately required to be insured, but your auto liability does not cover damage to the trailer itself, so a dedicated policy is usually worth it, especially if you're financing it.

Does my auto policy cover my travel trailer?

Your auto liability may extend to the trailer while it's being towed, but it generally does not cover damage to the trailer or its contents. A dedicated RV or trailer policy covers those.
