The Journey

We would all love a handbook for success that walks us through every step and every obstacle. But life isn't that easy. The answers won't always be handed to us.

As we go through life, we start to realize there's no one way to become successful. Listening to the women in leadership at A-MAX share their stories, it was eye-opening to hear how different their paths were. They came from different backgrounds and took different routes to get where they are now.

Yet I noticed a common theme in their conversations: no matter what path you take, you need the determination to succeed in your field. Without the drive to get past life's hurdles, success gets harder to reach.

Today, there's still a stigma about what success looks like: who holds those positions, what they are "supposed to do," what background they come from. A-MAX Insurance defies those stigmas every day. Most of our employees are women, and most of our leadership team is made up of women from different backgrounds who excel in their fields.

I'm personally proud to see that kind of representation in this company, and grateful that anyone here has the chance to succeed as long as they are determined. These women are living proof of change, diversity and determination.
