“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: what are you doing for others?” - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

As we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. today, I want to challenge you to take the time to do a kind gesture on this day of service. Many people enjoy the holiday because of the day off of work it provides, forgetting this day is all about SERVICE. 

Many will say, “I don’t have” or “I’m not” to alleviate their civic duty to help those less fortunate, but I’m here to tell you that no matter how small the gesture, one small act of kindness could change a person’s day and life. I want to challenge everyone to take the time to perform some act of service, not just today, but throughout the year. You never know what impact you may have when you take the time to do for others.
