The A-MAX Check Your Rate Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is intended for legal residents of the United States of America and shall only be construed and evaluated according to U.S. law.
SPONSOR/ADMINISTRATOR
A-MAX, 3030 N Stemmons Fwy, Ste. B, Dallas, TX 75247 (the “Sponsor” and “Administrator”).
ELIGIBILITY
The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority (whichever is older) in their state of permanent residence and who live within California or Texas (each a “Qualified Market,” together the “Qualified Markets”).
Employees, officers, and representatives of the Sponsor/Administrator, their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, sales reps, advertising/promo agencies, and each of their officers, directors, agents, and employees, and members of their immediate families/households (whether related or not) are NOT eligible (collectively, the “Released Parties”). Non-eligibility or non-compliance with these Official Rules will result in disqualification. Void outside the Qualified Markets and where prohibited or restricted by law. References to “Entrants” include any Entrant later deemed a “Winner.”
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES
By participating, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters. Winning a Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements herein.
GIVEAWAY PERIOD
The Giveaway Period is June 22 – June 27, 2026, ending at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on June 27, 2026. The Sponsor’s database/computer is the official time-keeping device.
HOW TO ENTER
There are two (2) ways to enter during the Giveaway Period — you may use either or both, and no purchase or payment is required for either method:
(1) Check your rate — request an auto-insurance quote from A-MAX online, by phone, or at a local A-MAX office. Each eligible rate check (quote) earns one (1) entry.
(2) Refer a friend — submit a referral through the A-MAX referral link or form (including the referred person’s name and contact information), or have an A-MAX representative submit it with you. Each eligible referral earns the referring Entrant one (1) entry; refer more friends to earn more entries. Only the referring Entrant is entered to win — referred friends are NOT entered into the Giveaway and are under no obligation to purchase anything.
Entries from both methods accumulate for the same Entrant. Duplicate, incomplete, or unverifiable quotes or referrals may be disqualified.
If you are a wireless subscriber with a device that accesses the Internet, you may enter via that device (normal data rates may apply per your carrier plan).
Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE): Mail a postcard with your full name, date of birth, phone number, address, and email to: “Entry – A-MAX Check Your Rate Giveaway,” c/o A-MAX, 3030 N Stemmons Fwy, Ste. B, Dallas, TX 75247. Mailed entries must be postmarked by June 27, 2026 and received by July 2, 2026. Limit one (1) mailed entry per person. Proof of submitting online or by mail is not proof of receipt. Automated/mechanically reproduced entries are void. The Released Parties are not responsible for late, incomplete, delayed, undelivered, or misdirected entries. All entries become Sponsor’s property and will not be returned.
All information will be handled per Sponsor’s Privacy Policy: https://www.amaxinsurance.com/privacy-policy. By entering, Entrants consent to Sponsor’s collection/use of personal information for administration of the Giveaway and agree to receive marketing communications (with the ability to opt out at any time).
GENERAL CONDITIONS
If the Giveaway is impaired or cannot run as planned for any reason (including virus, tampering, fraud, technical failures, or other causes), Sponsor may cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Giveaway and award the Prize using all non-suspect eligible entries received up to the time of action, or otherwise in a fair/equitable manner consistent with the spirit of these Rules. Sponsor may disqualify anyone it believes is tampering with the entry process or acting in violation of these Rules or unsportsmanlike/disruptive. CAUTION: Any attempt to damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may violate criminal/civil laws; Sponsor reserves all rights and remedies.
RELEASE & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By participating, Entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims or causes of action arising out of participation or receipt/use of the Prize, including technical errors, unauthorized intervention, printing/administration errors, or injury/damage to persons or property. In any cause of action, Released Parties’ liability is limited to the cost of entering; in no event will Released Parties be liable for attorneys’ fees or punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
DRAWING & NOTIFICATION
One (1) potential Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period, conducted on or about July 6, 2026 by the Administrator. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received. Sponsor will contact the potential Winner via phone and/or email. If the prize/notification is undeliverable, the potential Winner does not respond within two (2) days, or is otherwise ineligible/non-compliant, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, select an alternate.
GRAND PRIZE & PRIZE CONDITIONS
Grand Prize (1): one (1) gift card with a value of $1,000 USD. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $1,000 USD. No substitution, assignment, or transfer permitted, except by Sponsor who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Winner is responsible for all taxes and any expenses not expressly stated as included. If the prize/notification is undeliverable, the potential Winner does not respond within the required period, or is otherwise ineligible/non-compliant, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, select an alternate.
By accepting the Prize, where permitted by law, Winner grants the Released Parties the right to use their name, city/state, portrait, voice, likeness, biographical information, and/or Giveaway entry in any media for advertising/promotional purposes without additional compensation or approval.
DISPUTES
Entrants agree: (i) all disputes/claims arising out of or connected with the Giveaway or any prize will be resolved individually, without class action; (ii) all claims/judgments/awards will be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs (excluding attorneys’ fees); and (iii) under no circumstances may Entrants obtain punitive, incidental, consequential, or multiplied damages. These Rules are governed by U.S. law. Any legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and the parties consent to jurisdiction therein. [Reviewer note: confirm enforceability of Texas venue and the class-action / damages waivers as to California residents — some consumer protections may not be waivable under California law; remove this note before publishing.] If any provision is found invalid/unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in effect.
MISCELLANEOUS
Headings are for convenience only. No amendment/waiver is valid unless in writing and signed by Sponsor/Administrator. Entrants may not assign rights/obligations without Sponsor’s prior written consent. These Rules bind and benefit the permitted successors and assigns of Sponsor, Administrator, and Entrant.
