The A-MAX California Give Back Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is intended for legal residents of the United States of America and shall only be construed and evaluated according to U.S. law. The Loyal Customer Recognition Program described herein is a separate community initiative and is not part of the Sweepstakes drawing.
SPONSOR / ADMINISTRATOR
A-MAX Insurance, 3030 N Stemmons Fwy, Ste. B, Dallas, TX 75247 (the “Sponsor” and “Administrator”).
ELIGIBILITY
The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority (whichever is older) in their state of permanent residence and who live within California. The Sweepstakes is open to both existing A-MAX customers/policyholders (Referral Track) and new prospects who are not yet A-MAX customers (Acquisition Track), as described under “How to Enter” below.
Employees, officers, and representatives of the Sponsor/Administrator, their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, sales reps, advertising/promo agencies, and each of their officers, directors, agents, and employees, and members of their immediate families/households (whether related or not) are NOT eligible (collectively, the “Released Parties”). Non-eligibility or non-compliance with these Official Rules will result in disqualification. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. References to “Entrants” include any Entrant later deemed a “Winner.”
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES
By participating, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters. Winning a Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements herein.
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD
The Sweepstakes begins May 4, 2026 and ends May 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT (the “Sweepstakes Period”). The Sponsor’s database/computer is the official timekeeping device. No entries will be accepted after the close of the Sweepstakes Period.
HOW TO ENTER
Acquisition Track (New Prospects — Not Yet A-MAX Customers):
Eligible new prospects may enter during the Sweepstakes Period by obtaining a new auto insurance quote online at amaxinsurance.com/giveaway, in-store at any A-MAX California location, or by phone (no purchase required). Each qualifying quote start constitutes one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes drawing.
Referral Track (Existing A-MAX Customers):
Existing A-MAX customers/policyholders may enter during the Sweepstakes Period by submitting a friend or family member referral via the campaign landing page at amaxinsurance.com/giveaway or in-store at any A-MAX California location. Each qualifying referral submission where the referred friend subsequently completes a qualifying quote start constitutes one (1) entry for the referring customer. The referred friend who completes the qualifying quote start also receives one (1) entry into the drawing.
Entry Limit:
One (1) entry per person per entry method (quote start or referral submission) for the duration of the Sweepstakes Period. A person may earn a maximum of two (2) entries total by completing both an eligible quote start and a referral submission.
Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE):
Mail a postcard with your full name, date of birth, phone number, address, and email to: “Entry – A-MAX California Give Back Sweepstakes,” c/o A-MAX Insurance, 3030 N Stemmons Fwy, Ste. B, Dallas, TX 75247. Must be postmarked no later than May 30, 2026 and received within five (5) days thereafter. Limit one (1) mailed entry per person. Proof of submitting online or by mail is not proof of receipt. Automated/mechanically reproduced entries are void. The Released Parties are not responsible for late, incomplete, delayed, undelivered, or misdirected entries. All entries become Sponsor’s property and will not be returned.
If you are a wireless subscriber with a device that accesses the Internet, you may enter via that device (normal data rates may apply per your carrier plan).
All information will be handled per Sponsor’s Privacy Policy: https://www.amaxinsurance.com/privacy-policy. By entering, Entrants consent to Sponsor’s collection and use of personal information for administration of the Sweepstakes and agree to receive marketing communications (with the ability to opt out at any time).
GENERAL CONDITIONS
If the Sweepstakes is impaired or cannot run as planned for any reason (including virus, tampering, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control), Sponsor may cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes and award the Prize using all non-suspect eligible entries received up to the time of action, or otherwise in a fair and equitable manner consistent with the spirit of these Rules. Sponsor may disqualify anyone it believes is tampering with the entry process or acting in violation of these Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. CAUTION: Any attempt to damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may violate criminal and civil laws; Sponsor reserves all rights and remedies.
RELEASE & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By participating, Entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims or causes of action arising out of participation or receipt or use of the Prize, including technical errors, unauthorized intervention, printing or administration errors, or injury or damage to persons or property. In any cause of action, Released Parties’ liability is limited to the cost of entering; in no event will Released Parties be liable for attorneys’ fees or punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
DRAWING & NOTIFICATION
One (1) potential Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period, conducted on or about the first business day following the close of the Sweepstakes Period (on or about June 2, 2026) by the Administrator. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Sponsor will contact the potential Winner via phone and/or email. If the prize or notification is undeliverable, the potential Winner does not respond within two (2) business days, or is otherwise ineligible or non-compliant, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries.
GRAND PRIZE & PRIZE CONDITIONS
Sweepstakes Grand Prize (1 Winner): The Grand Prize Winner will receive one (1) digital gift card in the amount of $1,500 USD (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $1,500). The form, brand, and delivery method of the digital gift card are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Digital gift cards are subject to the terms and conditions of the issuing retailer or platform. No substitution, assignment, or transfer of the Prize is permitted, except by Sponsor, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. The winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and any expenses not expressly stated as included. Prize is non-transferable and has no cash value beyond the stated face amount. By accepting the Prize, where permitted by law, Winner grants the Released Parties the right to use their name, city and state of residence, portrait, voice, likeness, biographical information, and/or Sweepstakes entry in any media for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation or approval.
LOYAL CUSTOMER RECOGNITION PROGRAM — SEPARATE FROM SWEEPSTAKES
The Loyal Customer Recognition Program is a separate A-MAX community initiative and is NOT part of the Sweepstakes drawing. Up to two (2) existing A-MAX California customers may be selected by Sponsor, at its sole discretion, to receive a $500 digital gift card each in recognition of loyalty, referral activity, and community contribution. Selection criteria, timing, and public announcement are entirely at Sponsor’s discretion. Customers may be nominated through any local A-MAX California representative. Written consent will be obtained from any customer featured in public social media announcements or promotional materials. This program is a discretionary gift and is not governed by sweepstakes law; no entry, purchase, or random drawing is involved.
CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS — ADDITIONAL DISCLOSURES
This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable California sweepstakes and promotional laws. No bond is required. Sponsor is not required to obtain a bond under California Business and Professions Code §17539.5 because the total Sweepstakes prize value does not exceed $5,000. This Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any third-party gift card issuer. All trademarks referenced herein are the property of their respective owners. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
DISPUTES
Entrants agree: (i) all disputes and claims arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes or any Prize will be resolved individually, without class action; (ii) all claims, judgments, and awards will be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs (excluding attorneys’ fees); and (iii) under no circumstances may Entrants obtain punitive, incidental, consequential, or multiplied damages. These Rules are governed by U.S. law. Any legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and the parties consent to jurisdiction therein. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
MISCELLANEOUS
Headings are for convenience only. No amendment or waiver is valid unless in writing and signed by the Sponsor/Administrator. Entrants may not assign rights or obligations without Sponsor’s prior written consent. These Rules bind and benefit the permitted successors and assigns of Sponsor, Administrator, and Entrant.
